Taste description Appearance: Clear white with very faint hints of yellow. Clear and shiny. Aroma: Strong, fine, fresh and very complex for a calvados of this age, fruity at first, then floral. Green apple and citrus aromas predominate, with hints of cherry and floral notes. Flavour: A refreshing attack, supple and rounded on the palate, consistent, long and intense in retro-olfaction.
Suggestions — As an aperitif: on its own, with ice or with a few drops of water. A very good base for cocktails. — With food: serve well chilled with marinated or smoked fish. For desserts: with dark chocolate cakes and apple sorbets.
